Bound to Draw: Live Shibari Figure Drawing
An evening of art, connection, and intimacy.
Join us on the first Tuesday of every month for Bound To Draw’s Shibari Figure Drawing class, hosted at Devil Mask Studio.
Whether you’re a seasoned illustrator or an absolute beginner, we invite all our fellow rope doodlers to gather for a slow, focused session designed to inspire. You will witness skilled rope bondage models and riggers as they hold a series of striking poses, both grounded and in suspension, offering you a rare, intimate, and unique perspective to the human form.
We’ll keep the atmosphere relaxed with breaks throughout to stretch, reset, and socialize. At the end of the evening, share your work with the class for a chance to win our monthly raffle: a ticket for you and a guest to the studio’s Shibari 101 class!
Skill Level: All skill levels welcome (18+)
Supplies: Bring your favorite medium, or feel free to use ours

Hardpoint is a rope-focused play party with an emphasis on play!
This event is open to private Hardpoint members only.
Overview: Welcome to Hardpoint — our inaugural rope-focused play party with an emphasis on play! Whether you're looking for sexier rope or just straight up sex rope, come show off your creativity and maximalism. There’ll be plenty of bamboo hardpoint setups, space for floor play and low and relaxed music to make it easier to focus on your scenes. We plan to have two incredible rope performances to help set the mood for the evening and highlight talented kinksters in the community.
Introduction to Shibari Class: Ojai Edition
Welcome to Introduction to Shibari!
Location: TBD but it will be outside please dress and plan accordingly.
What to bring: We will be providing blankets but anything additional you may need for comfort to sit on the ground please bring for yourself. 1-2 hanks of rope. Water!
Overview: During our class we will learn about the foundations of rope that include, but are not limited to, the following:
types of rope
general safety tips
overview of nerves and how to know the difference between circulation and nerve issues
hand checks
vetting, after care
rope terminology
handling drills
SC ties | DC tie
joining and coiling rope
Please note there is a $50 (partially transferrable but non-refundable) deposit required to hold your spot that can be sent via Venmo or Zelle. Final payment will be due prior to class being in session.
